  • Admin/Secretariat Officer – Part Time – 15 Hours

    • 10-11 month contract
    • Start 7 March 2018
    • Must have minute taking and general admin support experience
    • 3 days per week – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am to 2.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break
    • Occasional requirement to work outside of these hours for meetings

     

    This is a great opportunity for an experienced Admin Officer seeking to work part time.

    Under minimal supervision, this position directs and oversees administrative, financial and operational support services and programs for the ACT Branch of the organisation.

     

    Duties:

    • Oversee and assist with the development and production of Branch meetings, reports, budgets, and funding applications
    • Undertaking the role of minute secretary as required, and ensuring that minutes are distributed in a timely manner
    • Coordinate state-wide strategies, background research, fiscal planning, policies and procedural development
    • Develop systems which support growth in policy/projects
    • Organising venues and catering for relevant meetings
    • Assisting the Branch Committee to establish an annual operating plan and objectives in line with business plan. Working with the Committee and Chair to effectively deliver the plan and report on progress
    • Providing a high level of general support and a positive, service-oriented approach to ACT members of the organisation
    • Processing Branch financial transactions, and ensuring sound financial and budget management on behalf of the ACT Branch

     

    Please note: This position will occasionally require working after hours and possibly travel interstate.
